I first began teaching when I was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ecuador 1994-1997. Immediately after working as a Peace Corps Volunteer I continued teaching at the Colegio Americano de Guayaquil from 1997-2001.
In 2002 I began working with Chicago Public Schools, originally at Cesar Chavez Academy in the Back of the Yards neighborhood. I transferred to O.A. Thorp Scholastic Academy in March 2003 and have been here happily ever since...
