Welcome!

Hi, I am Ms. Pruett.  I have been teaching at OA Thorp Academy for 24 years.  I started my teaching career in First Grade, looped to Second Grade and I am now working with the primary teachers (K-2) as a Literacy Specialist.  I have a B.S. and M.Ed from National-Louis University.  I am certified in Gifted Education, ESL, Early Childhood, Elementary Education and hold a Reading Specialist endorsement. I grew up in the western suburbs and currently reside in Roscoe Village.  

 

I love traveling, reading and spending time with family and friends.  I hope to instill a love of reading and writing for our Thorp students.
