Math Specialist (5th - 8th Grade)

Hello, Thorp families! I’m Mrs. Hanauer and I work with 5th through 8th grade on mathematics. Before coming to Thorp I worked as a Primary Intervention Specialist at Edgebrook Elementary School, and as an assistant at a Montessori preschool before that. 

I grew up in Montana and completed my college studies at University of Montana and University of Northwestern. I love rock climbing, skiing, hiking, camping, running, and more. I also enjoy reading, writing, drawing, and (surprise!) math. I can’t wait to share that passion with your fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth graders!
