TUESDAY 10/25 - Revise Biography/Memoir in Google Classroom

TUESDAY 10/25 - Revise Biography/Memoir

THIS IS DUE TODAY.

Go back to your Biography/Memoir draft.

1. Highlight each fact/note in pink.
2. Highlight your elaboration in green.

Are they balanced?
Each fact you took from a source should have AT LEAST one sentence following it that continues the story or connects the pieces between facts.
In a memoir, use facts to add detail to the memory.
In a biography, use facts to move from one impactful event to the next.

3. IF THEY ARE UNBALANCED:
Add elaboration to connect your events (mostly pink), OR facts to back up your explanation (mostly green).

When your writing is more balanced,
4. READ THE ENTIRE WRITING FROM BEGINNING TO END, out loud if you can. You will hear and see your mistakes more easily.
